In Mrs. Brittany Schremp’s classroom, one of our main goals is to ensure that each child gets the support they need to succeed. One of the best ways we do this is through the use of learning centers. These are activity stations set up around the room where students can engage in meaningful, hands-on learning, either independently or in small groups.
Today we practiced our centers!
"Learning centers allow students to explore new concepts, reinforce skills, and apply what they’ve learned in fun and engaging ways," Mrs. Schremp said. "While students are working in centers, I can pull small instructional groups to target specific skills based on each student’s unique needs. This allows me to differentiate instruction, providing personalized attention to those who need extra support, as well as challenging tasks for those ready to move ahead."
In Mrs. Schremp’s class, learning centers help students stay actively engaged while fostering collaboration, independence, and problem-solving skills. It’s a win-win for everyone! This approach helps ensure that every child is progressing at their own pace and getting the instruction they deserve.
